YouSea nominated for Horecava Innovation Award 2022!

YES! YouSea has been nominated for the Horecava Innovation Award 2022; the annual prize for the best innovations in the Dutch food service industry. The award ceremony will take place on Monday 10 January 2022*. Out of the 120 entries, there are finally 16 nominees selected for this prestigious award. The nominees are divided into four different categories. 

We have been nominated in the Concepts, Interior & Design category with our ecological cleaning products. Within this category, there was mainly a lot of offer for circular products and services. The other nominees in our category are: Sugo Pizza (Delivery & To Go), Conpax BV (paper cutlery) & Satelliet Meubelen BV (chairs made of recycled materials). 

The independent jury consists of experts, trade journalists and entrepreneurs. They expertly assessed a total of 120 entries. The jury also saw by far the most innovations this year in the Food & Beverage category, especially for vegan products. For example, a vegan sauce and a vegetable, liquid 'egg' are among the contenders. The other two categories are: Digital Apps & Social Media and Equipment & Services. 

A winner for each category will be announced on January 10. In addition, the Sustainability Award Karel de Vos (the prize for the most sustainable innovation) will also be awarded. All entries have a chance to win this prize and the overall winner can count on eternal fame, a lot of media attention and a beautiful challenge cup. Karel de Vos was the first jury chairman of the Horecava Innovation Award.
